MGB Acting Director Leo L. Jasareno joins the launching of the new urban greening program of Iloilo City on July 31, 2014 led by Senate President Franklin M. Drilon and Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Ramon Paje. Iloilo Governor Arthur D. Defensor, Sr. and City Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog joined the occasion as well.
The tree planting activity held at Centro Verde, Manduriao, Iloilo City marked the regreening program of the new highway known as the circumferential road. DENR Secretary Paje with key officials of the agency attended the DENR national executive committee meeting held in Iloilo City.
