Iloilo City – The Mines and Geosciences Bureau Regional Office 6 (MGB-6), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) issues an advisory warning the public against suspicious calls or any form of communication from persons who introduce themselves as officials or employees of the Mines and Geosciences Bureau Regional Office 6.
This is in response to a report received by MGB-6 that a certain individual called a former Office client introducing himself as the Regional Director of the Mines and Geosciences Bureau Regional Office No. 6. However, when the caller was subjected to further verification and questioning by the receiver, the caller suddenly hung up.
The public is advised to immediately report any suspicious call/communication from persons who introduce themselves as officials or employees of the Mines and Geosciences Bureau Regional Office 6 thru telephone numbers (033) 3362815 and (033) 5088029 or thru email mgbro6iloilo@gmail.com.
