The Mines and Geosciences Bureau Regional Office No. 6 (MGB RO 6) held a seminar on stress management on May 5, 2017 at the Iloilo Grand Hotel.
“We believe that there is a time for a retreat from the day-to-day routine of accomplishing work targets which may at times cause stress,” said MGB Ro 6 Regional Leo Van V. Juguan.
Fr. Joel Eslabra, Chaplain of the West Visayas State University Medical Center and an inspirational speaker gave a talk on the essentials of life beginning with a reflection on selfhood.
The MGB RO 6 Finance and Administrative Division headed by Ms. Cecilia L. Ochavo-Saycon envisioned the activity to educate and equip the employees on how to face and manage stress in a holistic manner starting with inputs on the spiritual aspect of life.
Ms. Merly Magtira from Cocolife Healthcare provided stress management tips as well during the one-day seminar. MGB RO 6 employees expressed their appreciation for an inspiring and invigorating day focusing on their well-being. (MGB RO-6)
