The personnel of the DENR-Mines and Geosciences Bureau (DENR-MGB) in Region 6 has donated a total of 2,560 pieces of surgical masks to the medical frontliners of the Western Visayas Medical Center (WVMC) of the Department of Health (DOH).
MGB-6 responded to the call of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 6 and pooled personal funds to extend help to those affected by COVID-19 in a fund-raising initiative, “Kasimanwa Ko, Palangga Ko.”
DENR-6 Regional Executive Director Franciso T. Milla turned-over the surgical masks to the staff of WVMC, Mother of Perpetual Help Ward (Covid-19 ward) on May 28, 2020 with MGB-6 personnel and MGB Employers Association (MGBEA) representatives. (MGB-6)
