MGB RO-6, DENR held a turn over ceremony for change of leadership

Iloilo City – The Mines and Geosciences Bureau Regional Office No. 6, Department of Environment and Natural Resources (MGB RO-6, DENR) held a turn-over ceremony for a change in leadership last August 16, 2019.

MGB RO-6, DENR formally welcomed Engr. Raul A. Laput as its officer-in-charge (OIC), office of the regional director as he assumed post pursuant to MGB Special Order 2019-153 signed by Acting Director Atty. Wilfredo Moncano dated August 14, 2019.

Meanwhile, outgoing regional director Roger A. de Dios was reassigned to the MGB Central Office based on MGB Special Order No. 2019-151 “as part of the continuing organizational development of this Office.”

DENR 6 Regional Executive Director Francisco T. Milla ceremoniously turned over the key of responsibility to incoming OIC-ORD Engr. Raul A. Laput.

In his acceptance speech, OIC-ORD Raul A. Laput said he considers it a great privilege and responsibility to take on the leadership of the MGB RO-6 and commits to continue what has been started in ensuring that MGB RO-6 pursues its mandate to ensure a responsible mining industry in the country.  He is a mining engineer stationed in MGB RO-7 as chief of the Mine Management Division.

Outgoing RD Roger A. de Dios gave high commendation to the MGB RO-6 personnel for their commitment, efficiency, and excellent work performance.  (MGB6, DENR)
