Pursuant to the Presidential Proclamation No. 992 entitled “Declaring A State of Public Health Emergency Throughout The Philippines,” and with the full implementation of Republic Act No. 11469, otherwise known as the “Bayanihan We Heal As One Act of 2020,” the Mines and Geosciences Bureau issued a notice allowing the extension of deadlines of the submission of Reportorial Requirements and proof of the payment of occupation and other regulatory fees as prescribed under the mining permit/contract up to June 30, 2020, or up to the immediate submission date when the quarantine has been lifted due to COVID-19. The notice was issued by MGB on April 13, 2020.
MGB defers as well to similar issuances/notices from other government agencies/instrumentalities concerned on matters of payment of taxes and other fees and charges involving mining permits/contracts.
