Ms. Ochavo-Saycon is one of the eighty-five (85) new CES Eligibles who took their oath in a ceremony led by career Executive Service Board (CESB) Chairperson Alicia dela Rosa-Bala, marking their official membership in the CES during the CES Congress on November 24-27, 2020.

With the theme “Thriving Leadership: Spirit-led Stewardship towards the Better Normal,” the 2020 CES Lifelong Learning for Leadership Congress “highlights the leadership values that enable leaders to grow amidst the flurry of unprecedented challenges through a delicate balance of agility and spirit-led leadership.” (CESB Page)

“The Career Executive Service is the ‘third level’ or the managerial class in the group of career positions in the Philippine civil service. The CES was created by Presidential Decree No. 1 to “form a continuing pool of well-selected and development-oriented career administrators who shall provide competent and faithful service.” (CESB Website)

A message from the CESB says: “Every year, we welcome CES aspirants who share our collective commitment to provide faithful and competent service in steering our country’s development. This extraordinary moment punctuates the year-long rigorous, challenging but meaningful four-stage CES eligibility process.”

Congratulations to our very own Ms. Cecilia Ochavo-Saycon, and to all the 2020 New CES Eligibles!
