DENR, MGB 6 participated in the launching of Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) in Isabela, Negros Occidental

Bacolod City – The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 6 headed by Regional Executive Director Francisco T. Milla, Jr. participated in the launching of the government’s Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP), dubbed as “Serbisyo Negrosanon” held in Isabela, Negros Occidental on January 21, 2020.

Engr. Raul A. Laput, Officer-In-Charge, Office of the Regional Director of the DENR Mines and Geosciences Bureau Regional Office 6 (DENR, MGB RO-6) joined the DENR and EMB officials in Region 6 to the said event, with the MGB RO-6 personnel distributing geohazard maps and posters, and responding to certain queries.

During the event, various government agencies extended medical and dental services, distributed food packs, rice, palay and tree seedlings, legal services and information materials to more or less 1,200 beneficiaries.

The DILG Assistant Secretary for Peace and Order Manuel B. Felix graced the occasion who stressed the importance of the government and the people working together towards peace and development.  Local government officials led by Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson acknowledged and expressed thanks to the government agencies who brought the services closer to the people of Isabela.  (MGB RO-6)
